Iin Fasadi celebrates its third year of co-operation with the Ii Lifeboat Society. We sponsor the PV Plania, which works on the Bay of Bothnia.

A new construction manager started at Fasadi Oy, with responsibility for Southern Finland.

At the beginning of 2006, a maintenance group was established at the Ii factory, and a mainte-nance person was hired for the Southern Finland region.

 

1 March 2004 - Sales office opens in Oulu

Iin Fasadi Oy and Planiatalo Oy opened a joint office in downtown Oulu, at Pakkahuoneenkatu 5. Plania house salesmen Tuomo Rungren and Mauri Prittinen are based there. A building de-signer specialised in small house design will also start working out of the facility in spring 2004.

 

1 January 2004 – 10 years of co-operation with Planiatalo Oy

Iin The co-operation between Iin Fasadi Oy and Planiatalo Oy began in 1994. The starting point for this co-operation was a new kind of customer orientation in which the customer is offered truly individual modular solutions at a reasonable price. By the end of 2003, Iin Fasadi Oy had deliv-ered more than 1,500 Plania houses.

 

17 December 2003 – Commissioning of new roof truss line

During 2003, the crane tracks of the roof truss crane press were rebuilt, and as a result the new carriage of the truss press is now powered by electric motors located in the roof beams. A new radial saw and hydraulic machine unit for the roof truss press was also installed on the line. As a result of this investment, the efficiency of truss manufacturing and quality level of NR trusses have increased significantly.

 

1 July 2003 – Move to a new office building

Uudet Our new office building is a good example of how well the new Fasadi modular construction works. With the exception of the manufacturing manager, all Iin Fasadi Oy employees moved into the new building. The move freed up office space near the manufacturing hall, which will be renovated as office space for manufacturing management and social facilities for the manufactur-ing personnel.
